The quarry garden.

Another beautiful day, so we had a trip into Northumberland. To Belsay Hall,Castle and Gardens.The castle is a ruin, the hall a modern country house, inspired by the ancient Classical temples of Greece, is empty and austere, but the gardens are wonderful. They were created out of the quarries that supplied the stone for the house.
