Back to reality!

How lovely, the sun is shining even though it is rather cold. I am looking forward to an afternoon walk again instead of going to bed. Mike is mowing the lawn and I have just been to inspect the garden with Bracken. There is still a surprising amount of colour left. I am so thrilled the artichokes came back though a couple were lost in the deep cold of last winter. I spotted (no pun intended!) this ladybird on the leaves and it seemed to be the right blip for today.
We have missed our Friday night slot at The Dog & Gun for a couple of weeks so as a special treat we are going there for our Sunday dinner around 5pm. Back to reality indeed!
