Lutyen's Pimple
A view of the pimple I alluded to yesterday. A couple ambled nicely in to the shot to give a sense of scale.
I doubt designing this taxed Sir Edwin too much, it is little more than a ganite shed. To be honest Jacca could have designed it!
We had a most glorious walk on the moors around Tavistock. Tavy' is a town hewn out of granite. Everything is made of granite the kerbstones, gate posts, bus shelters - even the boundary markers at the cricket club are big granite monoliths.
It is lucky that granite is waterproof as is has been known to rain a bit here.
Back up the M5 this afternoon for 1 more week of school before half term.
