Pufferfish ( Fugu ) for dinner

Fugu for dinner, this is what Shimonoseki is famous for. This fish is found in other parts of Japan, but Shimonoseki has the largest catch.

It is also known as pufferfish and blowfish. It has to be prepared by someone who knows what they are doing. As parts of the fish are poisonous, so much so, it can kill you.
