Distant relatives

Spent the day shooting pictures at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena at Ratho - the age categories of the British Lead Climbing Championships. However, felt this more conventional family shot was much more 'blip-worthy'. Distant relative T (third cousin thrice-removed or something similar, I think)and his wife K are in the UK on holiday from California and we arranged to meet them and my folks for a meal in an Edinburgh restaurant. A very enjoyable evening and the time just raced by. T and I have been in touch for a number of years, first by email and through family tree connections and more recently through 'a social network site'. And I made this one black and white as T said just how much he likes black and white images.
