After a wonderfully friendly and fun night last night it was time today to relax into a sedate holiday mode. After a morning of helping to clear up after the party I decided late in the afternoon to take a mystery break - the mystery was that I didn't know where I wanted to go nor what I wanted to do!

I hopped in the car and let the wheels decide for me.

What I found was the top of Mount Eden and the top of One Tree Hill (which doesn't have a tree!) - two of Auckland's many (extinct!) volcanic cones. From the top of Mount Eden the wind was blowing quite strong and cold, and with it came the strains of the Welsh National anthem as the choir practiced down in Eden Park ready for tonight's semi final..........
