Sleepy (head) bear (head)
Oh what a night.
After Ethan had a mammoth sleep whilst in Foreveryoung daycare yesterday, it took us till 9pm to get him to sleep last night. Never mind, we thought, at least we'll get a bit of a lie-in as he's bound to sleep in later than usual in the morning. Silly us! Up just before 1am, sobbing his heart out. Took over an hour for us to resettle him. He was then up for the day at 7.15am and I was on the early shift today. Ho hum.
Hubbie tooko him to his gymnastics class this morning while I started on some housework and gardening. As Ethan was looking tired shortly after he got back, I tried to give him an early lunch at 11.30am but he wouldn't really eat anything. So I popped him in the pushchair and walked down to Sainsbury's with him. He was asleep just before we got there, slept the whole way home, and slept, and slept ... yup ... it was another 3 hour "nap" from him today! At least this gave me lots of time to tackle the garden.
After he woke up, hubbie & I took him along to Dobbies. They hadn't got what we wanted but Ethan enjoyed looking at the Christmas Trees and the fish again. By now it was tea time and I really couldn't be bothered cooking. So we thought we'd brave the carvery at Bathgate again. Ethan wasn't as bad as last time, but he still didn't eat much and just wanted to charge around the place. So hubbie and I had to eat in shifts whilst making sure he didn't get in anyones way when off on one of his wanders.
He was slightly later to bed again this evening - just after 8pm. Hope the rest of tonight goes better than last night did!
