Autumnal Sunshine

The weatherman predicted an autumnal day of sunshine for today so we hatched a plan.

Up early, picnic picked up from the bakery and cake picked up from the market stalls, all packed into the car and off we set for Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

With Hannah being so excited to be learning to read at the moment we couldn't have picked a better time to go. The current featured works are from Juame Plensa who works a lot with letters. Hannah just ran around spotting letters and shouting then out.

Hannah seems to love sculptures, she just describes so much of how she feels about them, describing the shapes, the feel, what they remind her of. It's so brilliant to see.

Alice just likes running around, climbing on things, shouting at sheep.

We spent all day in the autumnal sunshine, just having fun, even had time for a ice-lolly at the end
