Sunbathing ladybirds

Back into work and another two days of emails to catch up with. The builders were drilling just above my head for much of the day which did hamper concentration. We don't have any meeting spaces left so we had an impromptu walk round the block for one of my team meetings. Still, upstairs is beginning to take shape (motion sensitive overhead lighting is in and working, new window constructed and new wiring snaking around the floors).

I managed a walk at lunchtime. It was such a lovely sunny day. There were so many ladybirds sunbathing on the brambles, some on their own and some in groups of three or more. I imagine that they'll be looking for places to hibernate soon. These all seemed to be native ladybirds - not sure where all the harlequins have gone.
