Piano playing

Today Emily performed in the ABRSM High Scorer's Concert for our area. She passed her Grade 4 piano exam with distinction earlier this year, and all the people with distinctions are invited to perform at this concert.

She was utterly fabulous! I know I'm her mother but other, unrelated, people said this too. She just looks so happy when she's playing - I couldn't get a shot then because it would have put her off, and I was too busy sitting there and being rather proud of her!
To watch her play just makes me happy because it's as though all the things that bother her just melt away and for a few minutes she is lost in her music. It's quite spellbinding.

So this is a photo of her sat at the piano afterwards. My beautiful, talented daughter in the place she is happiest.
