The waiting is over

It's been rather a hectic day at the office today, and I was only able to get out to the duckpond in the gathering gloom of the rain-threatening evening...

..and to my surprise, there were two proud parents and FIVE little fluffy babies.

I have to say that there was a bit of a lump in my throat, but I managed to overcome the emotion and start recording the event. The light was too poor to do a really good study, but there is plenty of time...

They were all voraciously chomping into the undergrowth on the bank, so it was difficult to get the angles I wanted, but I got this OK one of Junior.
