IDS comes to the centre

Iain Duncan Smith who is the local MP came to the drama centre in support of our efforts to prevent the council closing it down

They're doing it in stages, cutting a bit of money this year, cutting about five times that next year and the year after that cutting the rest of their support.

At the same time they are suggesting that by expanding the range of things they offer the centre can replace this money with what they can raise by interesting private patrons or running additional courses
