Magic Merlin Moment @bbcautumnwatch

Another Impressionist "Where's Wally" moment from The Hide. This structure is known as the Wigwam, for obvious reasons. Built by Alan Robertshaw, it is a raptor magnet. This morning the cry rang out in The Hide "Merlin on the Wigwam!" and all scopes swung round to latch onto it. Too far away for a detailed shot, I hope this gives you an impression of the scene.

The best shot of the day was taken by Lawrie. But he didn't get to see the Merlin! So, honours even, I think!
