"ready no4, okay, Stroke!"

My blissful ride along the river has been disturbed...

the freshers are back and the silence and gentle mists are now broken by plumby voices and educated idiots without lights on their bikes!

It is one of the joys of Cambridge that these things carry on regardless of famine, disaster, war or pestilence! The collection of bikes and riders, rowers and runners that populate the riverside has tripled in the last week....but like the gym after xmas, it will soon be back to normal.

Soon the river will be stillness and silence again, birdsong and hanging mists and the occassional idiot!
