One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Once I caught...

We holiday'd several times in France, Brittany, The Vendee, close enough to get to with the car, far enough away to be French.

One such trip, we bought 3 of these little boatie pictures. One went to my Mum, one went to Nant, and this one, was purchased for someone else, who let us down and disappointed us in a way we almost expected, but secretly hoped they wouldn't.

It sat for about 3 or 4 years on a shelf, hidden away, and I thought, I actually loved Brittany and the Vendee, and the colours and the boat reminded me of it, so I thought I'll hang it up there, so that I can look at it.

It's not hanging on a picture hook, it's hanging on the tie back clip for a blind which isn't there anymore, but it sits there quite nicely and breaks up the white.

Although I hung it there, to remind me of France, I think of a relationship that could have been, but wasn't, and probably never could have been, because some people are influenced by those around them, and despite being faced with the truth, can't see it themselves, and decide to create their own reality.

And I'll tell you something about Blip that really annoys me. I take pictures with bloody macro lens, and I see dust and cobwebs and broken things that I can't see with my poor eyesight, and that just drives me insane! I'm in permanent cleaning mode now!
