Pink Rings

I could have gone for the obvious image today which would have been my brand new iPhone4S in all its pristine whiteness merrily answering my questions to prove how good Siri really is. However, I decided to go creative and also take a risk.

The feeling of suspending £2500 worth of camera gear over a bath with tripod legs resting on the smooth enamel surface filled me with dread, sometimes you just have to do something a little risky to get a creative shot. So the bath was filled with about 2 inches of water and Radox was added to give a reddish pink hue to the image then it was just a matter of dropping water into the bath to create random images. There is a little photoshop enhancement to punch the pinks a little more but other than that it's a very natural photo.

This is probably going to be my image for the Weekend Blip Challenge where the subject is Pink. That is unless the very nice model I am going to be photographing tomorrow for my Model as a Mannequin set brings along something suitably pinkish to beat this one.
