Red Lanterns

Having strolled down to get a blip from the bridge over the River Douglas this morning, and then captured a few images of the imposing facade of the town Hall, my eye kept returning to this little image. Had a play around with it and increased the vibrance to make the little lanterns of the luscious fuscia stand out more. No masterpiece, but a cheery image I feel. I seem to be drawn to the last vestiges of colour that present themselves in the dull grey light just now. Lakes weekend so hoping for better weather than last week.
