Homeward Bound

Back to the station for the train to the airport.

This driver had all mod cons - video cameras in each carraige, computer screens, telephones, great big comfy armchair ......... just like being at home sitting watching tele.

The train back to the airport seemed to travel at half the speed and take a different route but took less time - very strange.

The flight was not great. I got a seat right at the door so that I could stretch my legs out ....... then two whales got on and sat next to me (bummer). When they asked for seatbelt extenders they were told they had to sit elsewhere (great). So they shifted me as well ............WHY? I ended up still crammed in next to the whales in a seat without the legroom and on the othere side of the aisle a high pitched whinny voiced child with a cackeling laughed mother who thought that everything the badly behaved brat (who was allowed to jump about on the chair back tables) was hilarious.

Ahh well - back to reality
