Another Portrait

"Another?" I hear you say? Well, my choice for yesterday's blip was very nearly ... my first portrait of a stranger; in the end I put it directly on to my Facebook page because I thought it might get a wider audience, and linked it to a charity address.

At the Art Galleries yesterday, John insisted I take his photo. He had earlier shown us his bracelet to explain that his movements and behaviours were the result of Huntingdon's disease, but we had a great discussion about all the music and the bands he has enjoyed in his 60 years. Then, as were about to leave, he asked me to take his photo ... and he was really insistent.

Today, feeling 1- bone idle and 2- carried away with the notion of portrait, I enlisted the nearest human. I've only slightly enhanced him! Decided he looked better than the astilbe which was my second choice! It was past it's best, you see !
