Square with three corners

I have known this ladies for over 20 years! We met at secondary school but they all met before that at Primary school.

My one friend coined the term for us as the square. Then one of us was missing on Facebook and we became the square with three corners.

We went out last night. We used to try and meet every month but life just keeps getting in the way. It was the first time since about June that we have managed to get out as just the four of us. It was my first proper night out since having my baby. Therefore I drank a fair bit of vodka and shouted a few rude terms out during the pub quiz. Our team name was square with three corners and we did not win. We were slightly flummoxed on the rugby flags and then the last two rounds got a bit odd. Sadly these did not ask us how old John Travolta and Olivia Newton John were in Grease as we knew that answer.

It was a great night though and there was a lot of laughing.

A square is a good shape for us as it is solid and dependable. These ladies have been my rocks at times when life all got a bit horrible. They are always at the end of the phone, email or Facebook message. I love them to absolute bits.

I am very lucky to have a square in my life.
