FLIPPING SURPRIIIIIISE
When I heard from Kate that a massive package had arrived for me in the post, I got pretty damn excited. I hadn't expected my bike to arrive until next week, so to hear such news was a very pleasant surprise. I was so excited I pretty much wanted to run the whole way home. (I didn't)
It was in quite a few parts when I opened the box, and didn't think I was gonna be able to piece it together, but in the end I succeeded. Just need a spanner and allen keys now, to put up the seat and secure the handle bars.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality too - I don't need to replace the tyres straight away and the actual frame is in pretty good condition. It's a tad on the small size, but for a cheap* ebay purchase it'll definitely do for now.

A full day in the studio, with a good haccs seminar and an alright(ish) attempt at getting some research done. Followed my a lovely pub trip to Jacob's after the tiring work of piecing a bike together.
*Cheap, in my eyes, is £80 inc postage for a 12-speed Raleigh road bike... others might disagree, but I'm extremely happy with my purchase
