Vagabond Gloomy-Busters
For my day off (always a funny statement, as I'm never truly "off"), I worked several hours cleaning out the storing area in my basement. Yuck. What a mess. It's pathetic to face all the junk you've stashed away for some unknown reason. Feels good to get some of it cleared out, though.
I took a series of rain-laden leaf shots on my back deck this morning, but nothing seemed quite right. Guess the dreary weather has me in a funk, so I sought something more cheerful to remedy my case of the gloomies. These Mums were actually left overs from last fall. I was too lazy, I suppose, to plant them, so they stayed in their pot along the side of the house. They've come full circle, albeit a bit "leggy" from not pinching the leaves back before the buds formed this summer. So, here are my vagabond gloomy-busters!
