All going up in flames

The park next to my house was the venue for Chinese lanterns this evening... A local group had decided to have an evening for the local kids. Stories in the park at dusk followed by flaming lanterns. We went round to see them, but were a bit late. We saw most of them.

We missed the one that crashed and burned thankfully.

I was told earlier today that the lanterns are bad for planes. Thankfully I didn't see any planes. Just excited kids and burning balls of fire.

When we got home we played with torches.
