Happy birthday... David...

...today is my brother-in-law's birthday... his parents are away on holiday so we had him over for a meal... & I baked him a monster of a cake....

Cooper had to help blow out the candles.... as you may have noticed he had a small mishap with the age, I had him a year younger than he is, so had a quick improvision & made a no. 8 & stuck it in front of the candle....


on a not so good note, my brother & sister-in-law in South Africa were rudely woken at 2.15am to someone trying to relief them of their electrical goods from their house... thank goodness for their little Jack Russel puppy... the panic button was pressed & all he got away with was my brother's mobile phone... the police arrived 30 minutes later... my brother went out looking for him but he dissapeared into the night....

one more reason I'm glad to be over here.... they are so lucky it could have been so much worse.... thank goodness they're all alright x
