Postman Pat

I tried Alexander on Postman Pat: Special Delivery Service - 'Cake' on YouTube, while he had his tea.

This was a recommendation received at the crack of dawn from my sister, I don't know what prompted it, unless she'd been up all night and that was the only thing that worked.

It seems to be a newer version of Postman Pat than I remember, but is pleasantly like the original, unlike updated versions of other of my childhood favourites. I certainly don't remember him doing SDS (Special Delivery Service) - he gets a bling badge for it. Maybe it's a bit like the SAS?

We didn't watch all of it, but he took delivery of a giant metal cake that was for someone to jump out of. It didn't however sound like the cake that the lady was expecting.....I don't know if DollyDoug had this problem today? Sounded to me like something could go wrong. I can't wait to find out who is going to jump out of it. I hope it's not a terrorist or something. But Pat and Jess can handle it, I know.

Needless to say, Alexander was transfixed. Hang on though, didn't Chris Morris claim that 'cake' was a drug? All is becoming clear....
