A new Era in Meg's life...

with a desk for homework and all her niknaks!! Although we had moved rooms last weekend we hadn't yet been to Ikea to get her a desk to complete her room. Today Daddy and I went and here she is with her "new desk". She loves it. She has asked if she could get a netbook from Santa so we will have to see how good she is between now and then!!

We are gradually getting through all the chores which had "piled up".

Johnny says that he wants a desk like Meg's but I have told him that he needs to be a little bigger as he still needs me to help a little with his homework.

We had an open day at the school today where the parents get to visit the classrooms and the children get to show their parents their work and show them round their classes. The kids love it and it is nice to see exactly what they are doing cause mine aren't always forthcoming about what they do each day.

It's also walk to school week so that's us completed it this week - 4 days and we are now on holiday until the 24th October. Am I please or not? Ask me on Wednesday and see if I am still sane!!!
