Not quite good enough......

That's what I felt about all my photos tonight, so I'm afraid this is a just do one. We took the dogs a walk over the secret field and bumped into friends so stood chatting for ages. The moon looked stunning as it was going up BUT I only had my big lens and no tripod so they all looked a bit w**ky when uploaded.

An earlier stroll around the garden and I had this as back up. As Mr G said, it is like a snail graveyard,. It is a garden light shaped like a lighthouse and the snails' shells have ended up in here.

I had taken a photo of the pavlova at today's Christmas menu cook off but the lighting was poop so no food Blip today. And did you know that pavlova's are made using the yolk of the egg as well as the white and that is how they differ from meringue....Oh, OK, I guess everyone BUT me knew that :)

All the Christmas talk today and I realised we won't be decorating our house this year as we are away for all of it!!! We go to Mum's on the 22rd for almost a week and then a week away with friends for New Year. Maybe I can decorate the house from the 8th till 22rd????

Mr G has just said his friend may house sit so maybe we ought to decorate for him :)
