Even for a moment

A little bit of sunlight can make such a difference, even for a moment. Nick has not been well this week, so once the children had gone to school I went back to bed and snuggled up with him. It felt very decadent, but was oh so welcome. We had a late brunch together and then I tried to catch up with my day. I think this was the only photo I took, the crab apples, which always look so pretty in winter - like colourful baubles decorating the tree.
