Bribery

First evening all week that it has been; (a) dry enough and (b) light enough when i get in, to give the chooks their evening pea treat.

Its actually a pathetic attempt to bribe them away from the herbs in pots but only actually works for the few minutes the frenzy takes place. Ah well, at least the buggers will taste good when i wring their necks.*

*yes i know i would be the first to cry if that happened, but I have explained to them that if there is ever a 28 days later style zombie plague and our survival depended upon it they would be in the pot. Barring that eventuality they will have a ripe old age
