this girl is awesome.

she's a student at one of the schools i work in and she phoned to see if she could meet me as she wants to be a part of school mission.

she's bright, switched-on, funny and passionate about seeing other young people's lives changed.

today she shared her life story with me. i was shocked. being here in zambia, you hear some crazy stories on a fairly regular basis. the thing that shocked me most was how completely together she was, despite the hideous things that life has thrown at her. such an inspiration.

i want to put her in my pocket and take her into every school i go to!
