"How was school? What did you learn today?"

"Well, I spent some time with my buddy."

"Right. So what did you learn from that?"

"Nothing much."

"OK. So tell me one thing you did learn, then. Just one thing, then I'll stop asking."

"Erm, we did maths."

"And what did you learn in maths?"

"Shapes."

"Yes? And what about shapes?"

"Hmmm...what?"

At this point I gave up.
