High School Bands

I went to the third annual Community Band Exhibition this evening, featuring high school marching bands from Bellingham and other nearby towns. The event, at the Civic Field, was free. I was very for an opportunity to see and hear the bands without having to go to football games.

I was very impressed by the quality of the better bands. The music and choreography was excellent and I enjoyed the show in spite of the chill in the air. Some people were clever enough to have brought blankets to wrap themselves in.
