Mess of flowers

We got this beauty growing in our department's parking lot. I have no idea how long it has been in bloom, but it is amazing. A sphere, about 3' (1 meter) in diameter, of the above. How cool is that.

I am feeling ridiculously ran down. I hope my cold goes away soon.
