Dave is making....

....bananas.

Next year, for his 80th birthday
he has an exhibition in Aberdeen Art Gallery.

(though what could possibly be the best of the perfection
that their work is? But it is there and more in Aberdeen Art Gallery)

Dave says he does not know why he is making bananas.

Not yet anyway.

Because I have known him for 44 years,
I reckon that if he even suspected that he did know
he would stop straightaway.
He'd go and do something else....

Hurrah for surprises.
