Bert Jansch

I saw Bert Jansch play his final gig with Pentangle in August just passed... and I remember borrowing his first album from a friend at school in the late Sixties. There are countless tributes on the web since his passing last week.

Davy Graham, a contemporary and early influence, made an album titled 'Folk, Blues and Beyond'. Jansch certainly took guitar playing into the sublime realms of beyond.

Avocet, blipped here, is a 1978 album which I have just obtained on CD to replace a long lost vinyl edition.
