Hanging on ...

The local duck pond ... fading light ... overhanging branches ... the last few leaves hold on grimly as autumn takes its chilly grip ... to reveal berries for the early morning feast ... survival ... the circle of life ...

... and that bl**dy light on my dashboard has come back on ... I hate cars ... and so does my bank account.

I love duck ponds - they're cheaper and you don't need airbags or seatbelts when you visit - just a handful of Tesco's value wholemeal at 47p.
