baking

We had a morning at home, that kind of ended up a day at home. It wasn't really meant to be that way, but Miss Pink just wanted to stay put today! I managed to get her to come round to doing some baking, so we made chocolate buns. It's the first time she has really wanted to take part in the baking, until now she has been happy just to eat the results! She was very cute, and very independant, "I do it mummy, I do Stirring, I do the egg,I do the flour, I love flour". I'm not sure how the buns will taste but she enjoyed making them. After baking she wanted to wash her hands, so she had some time playing with water, which resulted in a soggy mini pink! Stripped off and refusing to be dressed again, she had her lunch completely naked.
After school I got Master Pink to do his homework without too much fuss, and then as I had promised this morning, the two minis did some painting. Mmmm...my kitchen is also rather multi-coloured and glittery now too!
