Bright fog
A busy day including leaf printing. I really should know better but for some reason I don't. Chaos, paint in Autumn colours all over the place including the infants. Glad I'm not in tomorrow to face irate mummies. Anyway, much fun was had - I just love the way the smalls go 'ooooh' as you demonstrate the first print!
Having been a grey and miserable day, it was blazing sunshine when I left school, blazing sunshine when I went into the shop to get a paper, but when I came out again 5 minutes later - thick fog!!! it was swirly across the road yet the mountains beyond were still in sunlight. The whole bay was covered in fog but within 5 minutes of driving it had cleared. Extraordinary!! This is the view up the estuary towards the village, with the old grain store on the right.
By the time I came home the sun was blazing, it was boiling hot, robins were tweeting and bees buzzing. Crazy. I proceeded to clear and dig another bed up the top ready for yet more onions. 'Up the top' is in a it of a mess - rampant growth but none of it productive. I've set myself a target of a bed a day. We shall see!
