A GREY DAY
but not so at the sea-side. The water of a lovely green colour, the waves white and strong, the sand the same as ever, and Mischa and I we have some nuts and berries for the gulls and jack-daws. They like it and a great opportunity of take photos.
Originally we had set off looking for the training of the police-horses, on the beach, but at what time we do not know. And we do not find them anywhere.
A woman with an all-coloured umbrella, she is one of a large group that walks towards the Zandmotor and back to Kijkduin. She is my favourite for today!
My haiku:
A new colour is there
In the air a living symbol
Of togetherness
And the proverb from Coleridge:
A grain of sand includes the universe.
So we had a lot of universe this morning!
