A Suffolk Eye

Rumination

A five mile walk from Hollesley to the river Ore brought us face to face with these lovely thoughtful cows, pondering life, the universe and everything...

They fitted so beautifully into the autumn colours around them it really looked as if a film director, obsessively attending to detail, had placed them there ready for the panning shot.

A good walk for seeing animals , this one. Today there were these cows, a pair of beautiful fat black-and-grey pigs that looked a little like Robert Maxwell, a heron, a million million sand larks, some shetland ponies and a lot of Suffolk Punches.
