Alan's place

This is the cathedral in Lavaur, dedicated to St Alain. It is famous for the little man at the top of the tower who chimes the bell - one day I'll get there at the right time to see him in action.

A slightly slow start to the day - from the grown ups anyway - then after watching the start of the France-England rugby match, we headed off to show our friends the MBH. They were gratifyingly enthusiastic about the potential, though I'm sure the number of holes in floors/ceilings didn't go unnoticed. A quick trawl through the market, and to see the cathedral, then home for a long leisurely lunch. The afternoon was lost in Harry Potter (kids) and napping (grown ups and Conor) and before we knew it it was time for dinner and another long chat over too much wine.

A very relaxing day all round.
