Street theatre

You are always given a high quality of street theatre at Convent Garden and today was no exeption. First we listend to a string quintet playing the Can Can then we found this chap. He started with no audience as he had drawn the short straw and had the mid morning slot when no one is about. With his exellent patter he slowly drew the crowd in though and had at least 50 watchers by the finale.

If you have ever thought the bed of nails was an illusion, his chest and back after this proved otherwise, Ouch !

This afternoon we now have tickets to see Backbeat at the Duke of York Theatre and tonight we are seeing Les Mis with Alfie Bow and one of the ex-performers from Kidz R Us in St Ives Jamie Bryce.
