Liquid gas
Was working with liquid nitrogen today at work, and I knew I could make a fabulous blip with it. If only I knew how!
When pouring the nitrogen in the bowl (the silver thingy on the right) the nitrogen was splashing and making funny noises, and I really wanted to take pictures of it. But I was working, and that is no time to play around with my camera!
So when I was done working I took the nitrogen and the bowl to my office to have a go with my camera. It was slightly disappointing as this time the nitrogen wasn't splashing, but was behaving normally :(
I was still very eager to make pictures of it, so I tried a lot of settings and observed everything that happened :) even used the flash!
I'm not extremely happy with this picture, but it is good enough for a first attempt! Will try again :) and learn some more I hope...
On the way home I have been playing around with the shutterspeed of the camera again, quite like the result, but it was a bit too similar to yesterday's blip, so I used another picture for today's blip.
The results of the shutterspeed research can be found here, and here, and here and (what a surprise) here :)
