Bird on a wire

It was very grey by the time I got out to walk Obi and was intrigued by all these birds lined up on the wire. Why was the one of the left facing the other way? Or was he giving everyone else a lecture? Needless to say they all flew off as soon as we got in the field.

I'm learning that limiting myself to iPhone photography is restricting my power to zoom!
