Purple Spuds.

The workmen turned up 'first thing' this morning.
I would never consider 10.15am first thing ........... but they turned up.

Spent 30 minutes working and left.
Shame they didn't lag the tank as they were meant to.
So they will be back tomorrow morning (before 'first thing' apparently).

Walking round to Bags (formally known as daughter) I saw that the vandals have been at it agan.

I have heard about purple potatoes before but never had them.
I had no idea if they would keep their colour.
They are quite impressive and taste like normal spuds.
SWMBO thinks that because they are purple they will have more anti-oxidants in them and be better for us (but not for the wallet).
