NEIL LANDS IN OZ

Neil and his friends arrived in Sydney, Australia today. They are staying in a hostel near Bondi Beach. Only temporary as he needs to find a job and an apartment soon.

You may wonder why my blip today shows an Australia guide book. Well I bought this lovely book for Neil so that he would know all about Australia. I thought he would peruse it before he went and take it with him to refer to while he was there. Well he took one look at it - never opened it - and refused to take it with him. His thinking is that he doesn't want to be too organised - wants to play things by ear etc, etc. Don't agree with that as I like everything to be extra organised. But Neil is stubborn and won't be told. So the book is here and he is there.

( He has sorted out his debit card problem and everything is OK with that now. Seems as though it was a problem with a specific ATM on the islands of Phi Phi.)
