Beach Ballroom, Aberdeen

This was first opened in 1929 and has an art deco look to it.

Quite good to get down to the beach as it reminds me I live next to the sea, which normally I do not see on a working day.

The sky is clear at the time of the photograph, but the day was changeable with heavy rain at some points in the afternoon. It was cooler today, and there were not many people around at this end of Aberdeen's beach boulevard, though it was busy near the fast food outlets.

I saw a large flock of birds (maybe geese?) passing over the coast heading south. I imagine they may have a long journey ahead of them.
