Realistic

Every month a new flower arrangement is delivered to my office. They are always beautiful and admired by everyone who sees them. It takes a few minutes before people realise that they are artificial. They ask "Are they real?" and I say " Yes, realistic."

This week I had to be very realistic with myself. I had to realise what I am capable of doing and what I can not. The work load at school is quite heavy and I have to prioritise and decide what can be left for the next day. The tasks never get less, in fact every day the list grows longer.

To run a school effectively and professionaly takes a lot of behind the scenes maouvering. I am in charge of the behind the scenes operation and have to be at the front desk. Luckily I have LuvU2 now to give me support.

We experienced a very hot and humid day to day. This kind of weather is so draining. It is 5 o'clock and I feel exhausted. We have a parents evening tonight at school and I will only go home after 8. Mr G will meet us in town for an early supper and then he will take the children home.

I hope to get a good nights sleep and have renewed energy for the rest of the week.
