Cucumber

Well now, all those who guessed "Cucumber" yesterday, take a bow. You got it. My advice to anyone shooting a slice of one of these things, whether on a lightbox or not is simple. Cut the slice thinner than this. It's surprising how little depth of field you have to play with when working even this close (which isn't even anywhere near macro) and the thinner the slice the easier life will be. Now to start thinking about tomorrow.
