Luck

I'll quickly get the obligatory moan out of the way. My cold that I was bravely battling has now turned into a chest infection, antibiotics, feeling like shite, but a windy beach always makes me feel better.
There's a story behind this shot. I was actually photographing this
when a boingy bouncy labrador puppy came hurtling up out of nowhere, bowled me over then sent the birds flying! Don't know what was going on with my reflexes but from my heap like position on the wet sand I managed to snap them before they flew off into the distance. So thank you puppy for giving me a wet arse and my first ever more or less in focus shot of birds in flight :)
